Morning in Tauranga

Having breakfast in Tauranga poolside talking about some of the interesting food we have eaten. Perhaps the most unusual was Joy prepared breakfast poolside, juice, cereal and toast slathered with butter and covered with fresh sauteed mushrooms picked on her farm that morning. We were amazed how good it was. In Auckland we had New Zealand Green lipped mussels, scallops diablo (with the roe attached) Calimari and marinated olives. Last night, stuffed grape leaves, marinated olives and a woodfired seafood grill constisting of a skewer of swordfish, garlic prawns, grilled calimari on a bed of mixed greens and warm turkesh bread... We will have left overs for dinner tonight.
We will start posting photos soon, still some tech issues. We are also starting a quiz using some of the strange words and phrases we have become familiar with. We will begin including the quiz in our posts and will hold the answers till we get home. The winner will recieve a tacky souvenier from New Zealand. Please you are on your honor and only you and God will know if you cheated. We are looking for "kodak" moments but the weather has been overcast due to the storm in Australia. We know you would rather see photos of New Zealand rather than me entertaining my self ad nauseum.
In case you were wondering the weather today is "mostly fine, with extended periods of fine"
Quiz #1. If you were looking for a "stubbie holder" would you be looking for a place to a. protect a male appendage, b. hide a half used doobie, c, use one to keep your beer cold.
